Take the convenience, efficiency, and versatility of the household barbecue grill on the road this summer with the clever Roadtrip Grill LXE from Coleman. Whereas other portable liquid propane grills are petite and tabletop in design, the Roadtrip LXE is a full-size grill with collapsible scissor legs for countertops or travel. This 36-inch grill features 285 square inches of cooking space, ideal for toting to the beach or just into the driveway a small block party. Two 10,000 BTU burners cook meats evenly. Independent control knobs allow users to adjust temperatures on either burner for flexibility. The grill comes equipped with two warp-resistant cast-iron grill grates, coated in porcelain for cleaning convenience. Two side tables attach to the grill's sides for extra preparation space and store neatly under the grill. A grease tray catches drippings, sliding out for cleaning. The grill is outfitted with an Instastart electronic ignition. The grill affixes to a standard 16.4-ounce disposable propane cylinder, or can be hooked up to a 20-pound tank with an additional accessory purchase. Burning on high with a propane cylinder, the grill operates for 2.1 hours, while low settings allow operation for up to 4.5 hours. A heavy-duty vitreous lid cased in painted steel contains flames to reduce hazard while barring access to bugs and debris. The collapsible legs feature two wheels on one end and a wide handle on the other for towing. To clean the cooking surface, use mild detergents and avoid steel wool. Coleman offers several interchangeable Roadtrip cooking surfaces, including a stovetop and griddle, for separate purchase. This grill requires assembly. I ordered a Coleman Road Trip Grill on September 1st 2010. I chose Super Saver Shipping. Along with the grill I ordered a Road Trip Grill Cover, Iron Griddle, Wheeled Carry Case, and a high-pressure propane hose and adapter. My confirmation e-mail said my items are in stock and shipping date will be September 7th and delivery estimate will be sometime around the 14th of September. My problem with this statement was "Why does it take so long (from the 1st to the 7th) to get the "in stock" items into the hands of the shipping company"? I called Amazon and only receive a quote of what the "company policy" is and no real answer as to why it takes so long to get it out of the stock room and into the hands of the shipping company.
GOOD NEWS though ... I received the Grill on the 4th and the rest of the order on the 7th. Very fast shipping and hats off to Amazons shipping department and lumps of coal to the customer service department that gave me the impression that they didn't care what I thought.
Note: Products arrived in perfect condition. I have yet to try the grill and use the other items but they are in good physical condition.

This grill gets very hot and burns for a long time on a small canister of propane. Far exceeds expectations. Con is that you can't move it while its standing or it will collapse and its pretty big - which you don't realize until your packing your car for a camping trip. But performance is outstanding.

I've had my grill for about a month now and have used it 2-3 times each week. I'm happy with it overall. I cook for one and it is easy to use. A couple things I was surprised about when I got the grill. I was expecting a burner that was U-shaped. Instead, it is two round burners. That's not a problem just unexpected. Yes, I bought the grate for using pots on the grill but I hadn't put it together that it would be round burners. Also, because the pictures aren't big, I didn't realize that the meat drips onto a stainless steel area that doesn't come out. I had expected more of a removable fixture. Foil will work if you are compulsive. As mentioned before, the grilling grates have a 5" diameter solid spot with about 4" of grate around it. Not bad, just something you get used to.
If I had been looking for a barbecue grill and no other use, I wouldn't have purchased it. But I love it's flexibility. It's great for camping too. I don't have to bring a stove because this takes the place of a two burner stove in the morning and a grill in the evening (or half and half ) in the evening. It's easy to use (no melting problems that I've heard about) and I thought I'd have to get a big tank of gas for it. I've been getting a lot of use out of those little bottles. And my only "problem" is that I hate cleanup. The grates all go in the dishwasher (great). But the stainless steel bottom just isn't so shiny anymore. I don't really care. All in all, it's really a multi-use item. I've recommended it to friends who are looking for that. And I glad I made the purchase.

I love this grill the only problems for me were the wheels. I had to replace them with more sturdy wheels because the other ones bent in (hollow plastic).
